Thank you so much for your help. I will try and perhaps create another blogsite and see how it goes. I did went to see Cyprian on Friday and did this as per his advice. I will let you know if I face the same again. I will also try to follow your instructions re. proposal submision and inform you accordingly.

I wish to seek your clarification and assistance regarding the following:

1. Submision of project proposal - I have used the template you have circulated to write a few words about the project I am interested in. My query is about how I should send it to you. Do I use blackboard to send or have it as a word document attachment and send it on email?

I’ve just put up an announcement on Blackboard to explain what you need to do. I’ll use you as my first guinea pig. If you can find it and make sense of it then it should work for everyone. If not, let me know and I will fix it.

2.Blogsite address problem - I have created a blog site for my proposal which I am hoping to put some details during this week. The blogsite address is "www.genbudgeting.blogspot.com. However I have used the internet to access it without using my user id and password. It is not accessible so I am not sure whether I should circulate it to my colleagues whom I am thinking of creating partnership with both in PNG and around here.

Hmm, I’m not sure I understand what you mean. What I do know is that when I typed in this address nothing came up. This suggests the address is incorrect. Have another go. If you can’t work it through I suggest you have a chat to Cyprien at CIET – did you access their help last Friday?

3. Seeking your assistance - as I am interested in undertaking a project in promoting "Gender Responsive Budgeting" back in PNG, I wish to seek your assistance in identifying relevant groups or entities that are operating in Brisbane that I might seek their advice and support from.

A great starting point would be to talk to Ingrid Burkett from Foresters Community Finance. See: http://www.foresters.org.au/ If Ingrid is not available try talking to Belinda. Both are fabulous women. Feel free to mention my name.
